The Integrated Webworks Process
Discovery
In the Discovery stage, the first thing we do is get an idea of what the client wants as an outcome from their website. We ask certain questions like "What does this company do? Who is their target audience? What do they want to display on their site? Do they have any competition in their market? Do they have an existing brand or logo? Do they currently have a site?" All these questions and many more will be asked and talked about in our meetings with the potential clients. This is the most important step of the five, if something goes wrong or is missed, the rest of the stages will crumble.
Design
In our Design stage, we will take this information to our development team and decide how we will tackle the situation. We ’ll design a basic site map of how the site will lay out, including supplementary pages. Then, we will create a basic wireframe of what the site will end up looking like. The wireframe from the discovery stage will then be transformed into a Photoshop representation of what your site could end up looking like. While in Photoshop, we will combine graphical elements and texts, provided by the client, and apply it to the wireframe. This will be the closest thing to your site before the code is applied.
Development
After approval from the client, we enter the third stage, Development. Here, we will take the Photoshop mockup, slice the image up and use those graphical elements in your site design. From there, we code in HTML and CSS and transform that graphical site image into code. We will bring in the elements from Photoshop and use them in the design using CSS. Afterwards, when the all the basic structure of the site is completed, we will implement server technology like PHP or ASP that fit your requirements.
Testing
During the testing phase, we go in and out through your site trying to find issues any programming bugs or errors before the site goes live. We will scourer through every link, form, and page in order to find anything that breaks the experience for your viewer. Your site is put through the magnifying glass to find every single error, small or large and our goal is to fix them before launch. The list is checked, double checked, and triple checked.
Launch
During the launch stage, just like a rocket about to leave the pad and be shot off into space, the final checklist is in place. Here the site is just moments away from being seen by thousands, if not millions of viewers.
Maintenance
Our process doesn't stop at the Launch stage. We will continue supply maintenance for your site to ensure it has a stable start up period and answer any demands that were not addressed during development. We pride ourselves in developing not just products for our clients, but relationships as well.
